Loyal Duke Lodge - Salida

Very dog friendly!

We had a queen room with delightful views. The venue was set in the central position short walk to many restaurants and the hot springs and park and the farm.

The room was neat with a microwave, a fridge and a work desk.

Our accommodation was set in a central location not far from shops, restaurants and trails, Buena Vista and Monarch pass and activities and businesses. The staff were helpful and attentive! The family queen room was functional, very comfy bed.

Very efficient and friendly staff who will make whatever bookings you need to ski or snowboard. I really like their welcoming attitude towards my dogs.

The bars of soap are way too small and the linens are a bit threadbare.

Loved it! We only wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the sunset while sitting in their outside jacuzzi's! You could tell it had been recently painted, etc and we enjoyed our stay! The kids loved the pool :)

The bed and pillows offered an excellent level of comfort. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room, which stood out . The dog-friendly patch of grass nearby was a fantastic touch. I enjoyed the short walk to the dog park too. The view of the mountains provided a lovely backdrop that enhanced my experience.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean, with cozy bedding and thoughtful touches. It was also easy to access common areas, including inviting outdoor spaces where I relaxed comfortably.

More senior-friendly seating options would be appreciated.

The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night, and I appreciated the clean, quaint room, perfect for accommodating my two dogs. The location is superb, great for easy exploration, while the outdoor hot tubs looked inviting. Some areas could benefit from a bit more attention, such as the windowsill in the bathroom and more senior-friendly seating options in communal areas.

More seating options for seniors would be nice.

The Loyal Duke Lodge room was actually really nice and clean-definitely looked like the pics! There was a great little deck with tables outside our room too. The shower stuff was a nice surprise, especially the conditioner. Beds were comfy enough, and the AC worked well. Just wish the floors weren't so slippery for my dog, so a rug would have been a nice touch.

Hot tubs were nice, but the Wi-Fi was annoyingly unreliable.

Although the room was clean, there was an annoying amount of sand or dirt on the floor, turning a simple night into a hassle when climbing into bed. The shower set-up proved problematic for a comfortable wash, as the fixed shower head sprayed awkwardly against the wall, forcing an inconvenient sponge bath. The bed lacked comfort. Old, lumpy pillows didn't help the situation, leaving a lot to be desired for the price paid.

The room was spacious and decorated with cozy bedding. We especially loved the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the entire facility. The location was perfect for our adventures in Salida, and having free WiFi was a big plus.

We wish the breakfast hours were a bit earlier.

Great spot with free parking available - always a plus! 😊 The breakfast spread is quite impressive, offering a bit of everything from toast and cereals to muffins and cheese. And to top it off, the pool area is heated for that extra touch of relaxation.
